Pollen-free and multi-headed means they will continue to provide blooms for several weeks making this a perfect cut flower. Hardy Annual Height: 120-160cm (4-5ft) Sow: April to May Flowers: July to September WHERE TO SOW Sow seed thinly in drills 45cm (18") apart in well cultivated soil raked to a fine tilth. Germination usually takes 15-21 days. FOR EARLIER SOWINGS Sow indoors, individually in 7.5cm (3") pots at 20-25C. When well grown, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost has passed in a well drained soil in full sun. WHAT TO DO NEXT When large enough to handle, thin to 45cm (18") apart. HANDY TIP Plants may need staking in exposed areas.
