Marigold French Alumia Vanilla

Alumia Vanilla Cream has a unique colour to its blooms which has never been seen in French marigolds before. The gorgeous vanilla cream heads sit ontop of neat and bushy plants. This variety has an outstanding garden performance, and is an ideal choice for tempting pollinators such as bees into your garden. The plant can grow to a height of 25-30cm (10-12"). WHEN TO SOW February to April WHERE TO SOW On the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays and cover witha fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or in a warm place and keep at a temperature between 21-25°C (70-75°F). Do not exclude light as this helps germination which usually takes 7-21 days. WHAT TO DO NEXT When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12") apart in well drained soil in full sun.
