Hardy Perennial ( Treat as Half Hardy Annual or Hardy Biennial) Height - 15-20cm (6-8in) Sow Feb, March or June to September Flowers November-September, Depending on sowing time WHERE TO SOW On the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place at a temperature between 15-20°C (59-68°F). Do not exclude light as this helps germination which is usually 14-21 days. Too high a temperature can prevent germination. WHAT TO DO NEXT When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 23cm (9") apart, or plant into containers.
