Chrysanthemum Polar Star

Easy to grow, attractive tri-coloured chrysanthemum. Pure white blooms have a yellow ring around a dark centre. Adds height to borders and makes an attractive cut flower. WHEN TO SOW March to May or September WHERE TO SOW Sow in shallow rows about 1.5cm (1/2") deep. Also can be broadcast over a wide area and raked in. WHAT TO DO NEXT Thin out seedlings as they grow to a final spacing of about 15cm (6") apart. Transplant spare seedlings to enlarge flowering area. FLOWERS June to October HEIGHT 60-75cm (24-30") HANDY TIP May also be sown direct into flowering site in September in sheltered or protected areas for really early flowering. Dead head regularly for continual flowering.
