Sunflower Double Sun King

Fully double, golden-yellow, 15-25cm (6-10in) blooms with masses of petals for that attrac-tive, fluffy, powderpuff look. Tall strong single stems topped by an almost pollen free uni-form bloom, making Sun King an excellent, long lasting cut flower due to its double-ness. Hardy Annual Height 180cm (6ft) Sow April to May Flowers July to September WHERE TO SOW Sow seed thinly in drills 45cm (18") apart in well cultivated soil raked to a fine tilth. Germination usually takes 15-21 days. FOR EARLIER SOWINGS Sow indoors, individually in 7.5cm (3") pots at 20-25°C. When well grown, gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost has passed in a well-drained soil in full sun.
