Pansy Large Flower Mix

Large Flower Mix Pansy is an attractive mixture of both blotched and non-blotched colours. A good flowering habit for both autumn and spring flowering. The plant can grow to a height of 20cm (8''). Notes: Flowers depending on sowing time WHEN TO SOW February to March or June to September WHERE TO SOW: Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place at a temperature of between 15-20°C (59-68°F). After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination which usually takes 14-21 days. Take care not to provide too high a temperature as this can prevent germination. WHAT TO DO NEXT When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots or trays. Plant out in borders in autumn to flower through the winter into spring. FLOWERS November to September depending on sowing time. HANDY TIP Regular removal of dead heads encourage new flowers to ensure a continuous display.
