Mirabilis Jalapa Marbles Mixed

A spectacular formula mixture of 3 marbled varieties all with eye catching striped and bi-coloured flowers. These fragrant blooms open late afternoon, hence the common name 4 o'clock plant. Keep blooming until the following morning filling the garden with their evening fragrance. Height 60-90cm (24-36") WHEN TO SOW February to April WHERE TO SOW Sow seed under cover onto the surface of lightly firmed, moist compost in pots or trays and cover the seed to its own depth with compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place at 20-25°C (68-77°F) until germination which usually takes 7-21 days. WHAT TO DO NEXT When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost. 30cm (12") apart in full sun.
