Marigold French Durango Mixed

Early flowering anemone crested blooms on bushy, vigorous basal branching plants with outstanding uniformity across all colours. The best French marigold we have ever grown. Height: 20-25cm (8-10") WHEN TO SOW February to April WHERE TO SOW On the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or in a warm place and keep at a temperature between 21-25°C (70-75°F). Do not exclude light as this helps germination which usually takes 7-21 days. WHAT TO DO NEXT When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12") apart in well drained soil in full sun. FLOWERS June onwards HANDY TIP Can be used for edging but why not try planting as large drifts in borders creating a vibrant splash of colour all summer.
