A most reliable old favourite! An easy to grow variety which is perfect for beginners. Yields good crops of roots with great colour and flavour- perfect for adding to salads raw, pickling and baking.
SOW Outdoors : April-July, thinly, repeat at regular intervals for succession. Sow at a depth of 2.5cm/1 in, spacing In rows 30cm/12in apart. Thin out as necessary to allow 10cm/4in between plants.
HARVEST : From May to October. Twist off leaves. For winter use, lift in autumn and store away from frost in dry sand or soil. Suitable for freezing. Water regularly during dry spells and HARVEST alternate plants .
