Dahlia Bishops Children

Bred on and developed from Bishop of Llandaff. A fiery, mid-height dahlia mix in a range of striking colours, all enhanced by the rich bronze foliage. Stunning in border. WHEN TO SOW February to April WHERE TO SOW Sow in trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm place and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C (68-77°F). WHAT TO DO NEXT When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. As seedlings grow, transplant into 9cm (3 1/2") pots and gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site from late May onwards. Space plants 45-60cm (18-24") apart. FLOWERS July onwards HEIGHT 60-75cm (24-30") HANDY TIP Use the dark foliage as a colour contrast in borders.
