Medium-late variety with round, flattish heads. Leaves are greyish-green and well blistered.
WHEN TO SOW April and May
OUTDOORS Sow in short shallow drill about 1cm deep in open ground of fine soil. When seedlings are about 10cm tall, transplant to growing site spacing 35cm apart. Make sure the soil is firm around the roots and water well. If conditions are too dry in May, try sowing seed in plug trays. These can then be easily planted out without disturbing the roots as soon as conditions improve.
