Delicious medium size roots which rarely become woody. Pick young as baby beet or leave to mature.

WHEN TO SOW March to July

WHERE TO SOW Sow thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm (½") deep with 30cm (12") between rows.

WHAT TO DO NEXT Thin the seedlings gradually as they grow to an eventual spacing of 10cm (4"). Do not transplant.

HARVEST June to October

HANDY TIP Always remember to twist off leaves before cooking as this helps prevent roots bleeding.
